Danny Cooper joined Lanier Upshaw in Sept. 2006 in his current position. His primary duties include overseeing all corporate communications, the corporate brand and directing all media relations and community relations efforts for the company.

Mr. Cooper was raised in Lakeland, Fla. and is a graduate of The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. Prior to joining Lanier Upshaw, Mr. Cooper spent almost nine years on active duty with the U.S. Air Force as a public affairs officer. He is also a graduate of Air Force Squadron Officer School and the Defense Information School. Mr. Cooper currently serves as Vice President and Secretary of the Tampa Bay Citadel Alumni Club which numbers nearly 400 members and is a member of the Advisory Board of the First Tee of Lakeland and YMCA Par 3 Center in Lakeland.
