Ryan Deeds joined Lanier Upshaw in 2003 as a systems administrator. In his current position, he directs all aspects of the company’s technology and communications initiatives including end-user systems, database development and integration, agency management systems, telephones and more. In 2006, the IT team was selected as a finalist for the AMS Users Group’s Automation Excellence Award.

Mr. Deeds grew up in Europe in a military family. Upon graduation from high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served with the 101st Infantry as a medic. He attended Austin Peay State University in Tenn. where he studied computer information systems. Prior to joining Lanier Upshaw, Mr. Deeds worked as a technician, systems administrator and in desktop support roles for several companies in the Tampa Bay area.
