Lanier Upshaw

Forrest has been with Lanier Upshaw since 2007 and currently serves on the Board of Directors. Before joining Lanier Upshaw, he was with a national brokerage firm, and has been in the industry since 1989. His client experience ranges from start-up companies to large, publicly traded firms in a number of different industries.

Forrest serves multiple roles at Lanier Upshaw, including matching our resources and team experience to prospects and clients risk management needs as well as recruiting and training our sales force.

Forrest grew up in Tampa and graduated from Berkeley Preparatory School in 1984. He attended the University of Virginia and earned a B.A. in History in 1988.

Forrest has served on a number of social and charitable boards including the following: Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club, Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council, Henry B. Plant Museum Board, All Children's Hospital Foundation Board and H. Lee Moffitt Foundation Board.

Forrest and his wife Marie live in Tampa with their 3 children.
