Toby has been with Lanier Upshaw since 1993, and has served on our Board of Directors. He is a leading specialist in property insurance with a focus on large properties facing catastrophic exposures. Toby earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Georgia Tech and is a graduate of the U. S. Naval War College. He currently holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Toby is a former Commander in the U.S. Navy. Originally from Georgia, Toby now lives in Valrico, Florida with his wife. He has two grown children and two grandchildren.
