Bill Cammann, Lanier Upshaw Principal and Risk Consultant, was recognized for his service on the Board of Directors at the Suncoast Utility Contractors Association from 2007 to 20016. Lanier Upshaw’s Joe Donohue will carry on Bill’s hard work and dedication on the SUCA board.
Suncoast Utility Contractors Association (SUCA) is a trade association representing 100+ member companies in the Florida counties of Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Sumter, Manatee, Sarasota and part of Polk. Association members provide the materials and workforce that builds and maintains Florida’s network of water, sewer, gas, electric, telecommunications, excavation, and construction site development industries. SUCA offers its members the opportunity to build relationships and create unique business opportunities, stay up-to-date on the latest industry news and participate in shaping industry-related legislation. SUCA members are working together to advance the local underground utility construction industry.
Bill has been with Lanier Upshaw since 1993 and currently serves on the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Lanier Upshaw he worked as both a claims adjuster and claims manager. Subsequently he worked for a national insurance brokerage and formed a regional agency. Bill has earned his MBA as well as his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.
Originally from Roslyn Heights, New York, Bill and his wife now live in St. Petersburg, Florida. He serves on the Board of Directors for the West Tampa Boys and Girls Club and is also involved in the Rotary Club, the Tampa Chamber of Commerce, and the CPCU Society.
